About Me and why you should listen…

I’m Megan Stachini — founder of Intrinsic and I have been where you are now.

I was 26 when I set up my first business, a single mum with £80 to my name. In my first year in business I was turning over multi 6 figures. I built a successful business the “traditional” way — pushing limits, long hours, ignoring my body. Because it wouldn’t last long right?

4 years later- the business had grown to nearly 7 figures and I was earning more than I could have imagined when I first set out. On the outside, everything was a ‘success’ but on the inside…

A whole different story.

I was excruciatingly anxious, stressed all of the time and running on empty. I was snappy and short with the kids and partner for the smallest things. Feeling SO guilty for being this person I didn’t even recognise.

I was looking to ‘escape’ at every given opportunity, feeling suffocated unless I was on holiday. When I was, I still couldn’t switch off...

This business I built for ‘freedom’ and for ‘my kids to have better, became the thing that trapped me and turned me into a mother that was never really there, always snappy and actually – worse for my kids than if I were working a ‘normal’ 9-5 job.

At 30, with the business at it’s ‘peak’ my body completely gave up on me. I was burned out and my mental health took a complete nose dive.

I didn’t have a clue who I was, and how I had got to this horrific point.

So things had to change.

Through my own healing and years of learning, creating and adapting I rebuilt from the inside out. I now run 3 businesses, work less than ever and can’t remember the last time I was really unwell —
